Backyard Large Scale Railroading

We visited a newly constructed garden railroad a few weekends ago and had a great time watching and running trains! The owner has put a lot of time and effort into the railroad and has plans to do more. Thanks to some well thought out switch placement the layout can be operated as one long mainline in a double folded dog bone configuration or as two independent mainlines! Don’t worry there was a variety of different engines running of various road names. Canadian Pacific, Erie Lackawanna and CSX to name a few.

Too big, although I'm looking for something a tad smaller for my 6-year old grandson. Never thought that selecting a train set would be so complicated. They're either super small of good quality or complete junk and other sizes. Anyway, good video so thanks for posting.

It is easy to align all the trains on the round track? I know HO scale has a piece of track that will align all the train cars to the track. I am new to G scale and I am having ca hard time aligning the train cars to the track. Any help would be appreciated . Thank you

This set is absolutely the worst set you could possible purchase, especially considering the cost. Have set up for the past 3 christmas' for my grandkids and spend all my time re-setting the cars on the tracks as the slightest touch de-rails a car. Worst purchase I ever make and will never setup again. BTW, customer service is non-existent.
