Visit Tim Dickinson’s HO Scale model train layout for an unusual sight – Norfolk Southern locomotives and TopGon coal cars traversing the line between Spokane and Seattle, Washington. In due time, we’ll cover awesome Burlington Northern action from the mid-70’s on Tim’s layout.
Featured in this video are Paul Federiconi and his completely custom, Norfolk Southern Dash9’s. Complete with ALL of the detail you could imagine (including some new Details West NS and Dash9 products), Paul even went as far as adding sound to the models with the correct, custom programmed, K5 horn and air compressor – not currently available on the market. Sound decoder by Loksound. Paul painted the models and used decals from ShellScale Decals (www.shellscale.com) Visit: www.detailswest.com
Paul’s Dash9’s pull 36 BLMA Models HO Scale TopGon Coal Cars in smooth, modern fashion. Running empty, the train makes good speed through the flat lands, powers it’s way up the grade, and glides down the hill in dynamics for a meet with an intermodal train holding the main.

Is it gremlin night at the drivein.  A 23 window micro bus?  cool. very nice layout, perfect track work.
Now that is simply one "Bad-Ass" layout you guys got there! Very impressive and the details are outstanding. I'm getting ready to start my layout in my 2-car garage, now my new train house that has an interior dimension of 18 feet wide by 24 feet deep. I've just finished the track-plans with all the walk-thru isles and a few lift-outs which is all done in HO scale running BN & BNSF both. If I can get mine to look half as good as what you guys have built here, I'll be one happy model railroader. Very cool guys, thanks for sharing!
Cool video!!!
Magnificent!
I really like your video. I live in Terre Haute IN. NS has been there twice!
Great layout!
What brand are the loco's?
Hey I'm no expert by far but my grandson likes trains and of every model train I've seen on YouTube- this is the BEST!!!! (He watches it over n over) at first I thought it was a real train- I really wasn't sure for a few minutes!
Hiya i want to know the outro Music in the video. Thnx :)
LOOOOOVE IT
I'm almost afraid to say this, but how would you guys feel about doing these in O scale? I have a bunch of Lionel NS bathtub gondolas, which are nice models, but I just feel like the train isn't complete without TopGons, and I'm sure the current O scale manufacturers won't be making them any time soon.
Awesome HO Scale NS TopGon Model Train Action in this video is very informative. Search in google the following title ho gauge train sets to know more.I recommend everyone to see megarno railroad membership magician
Extremely Amazing!
I love this video.Modern American Railways captured superbly in HO Scale. Being involved in N Scale for a long time down here in Australia this is the excellence I work towards.
Congratulations
Cool layout
